My Near Death Experience
Many people ask about their loved ones who have passed over to the other side. I can confirm - because I have seen it - that there is a place of happiness for us, our friends and family.
In 1976 I was working as a residential social worker with delinquent teenagers, I finished my shift at 10pm and headed home in my car. As I approached a zebra crossing I saw people waiting to cross, I stopped and so did a car on the opposite side. That is the last thing I can remember, I was told later that a car with four young men in it had overtaken the car that was stopped and had hit me head on at about 60 mph.
I was trapped in the car for 2 hours with multiple injuries; I was finally cut out of the car and taken to a hospital in Wythenshaw Manchester. My next memory was leaving my body and drifting up towards the ceiling, I could see the medical team working on me but felt no emotions. At this point I left the room and found myself in a black tunnel, I began to drift slowly down this tunnel.
As I drifted a tune was playing, it was a Yugoslav folk tune being played on a flute, there was a religious programme on television at the time and the tune being played was the one that was played to introduce the programme. As I continued my journey down the tunnel I could see quite clearly carvings on the walls of the tunnel, I am still unsure today if they were carvings of faces or something else. Looking at these carvings gave me a sense of peace.
Eventually I emerged into the bright light, there waiting for me were friends and relatives who had passed over. The feeling of peace and happiness was overwhelming as I spent time with my loved ones. It was at this time I was told of certain things to come and answers to some questions that had been with me for some time. I have never told anyone of what I was told, I have thought about this since 1976 and I think fear of telling people was the main reason.
After a period of time I was whisked away in the blink of an eye and found myself in a darkened room with a long table before me, sitting at this table were 12 cowled monks, I had no need to count them I somehow knew the number. As I stood before them one in the middle just said to me, "We will give you another Twelve", the next second I heard my sisters voice coming from behind the seated figures, she just kept on saying my name "Jim" with that I began to go back through the tunnel, the carvings on the walls were now different, they gave me the feeling of sadness. I do not remember entering my body; I regained consciousness a few days later.
To this day I still don't understand what the saying of "We will give you another Twelve" means.
I am 63 years old and I know my end is near; I now want to tell people just what I was told on that August night in 1976.
1. What part has Mother Nature begun to play in the changes to come?
2. What will come out of Antarctica as the ice melts?
3. How fast will the end come?
4. Will any humans survive?
5. Why do some people commit terrible acts of violence without remorse?
